What is Salti Marketing?
Salti Marketing is a WhatsApp marketing platform built by Salti Developments, with teams in Beirut and Dubai. It runs on the official WhatsApp Business (Cloud) API from Meta and combines bulk WhatsApp campaigns, a shared team inbox, a visual WhatsApp chatbot builder, an AI sales assistant and WooCommerce/Shopify integrations in one workspace.
Do you work with businesses outside Lebanon, in the UAE, the GCC or the US?
Yes. Lebanon is our home market, and we also set up and support the WhatsApp Business API for businesses in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, the US, Europe and anywhere WhatsApp is used. The integration is done online in a short live session, and Meta's message fees depend on your customers' country.
Is this the official WhatsApp Business API?
Yes. We connect your number directly to Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API, together with you in a live setup session. We never use unofficial apps or modified WhatsApp clients, which is what gets numbers banned.
What do we need to start?
Two things: a personal Facebook account (used to connect your business to Meta) and a phone number that is not active on the regular WhatsApp app, since a number works on the WhatsApp app or the API, not both. To send marketing messages, Meta also needs a payment card on your WhatsApp account for its message fees. We do the integration with you in a live session.
Are bulk WhatsApp broadcasts allowed?
Yes, as long as every contact has opted in and you send a Meta-approved template. Outside the 24-hour customer service window only templates can be sent. Contacts who reply STOP are unsubscribed automatically.
How are WhatsApp messages billed?
Meta charges per message based on the template category and the customer's country, and bills your own Meta Business account directly. Salti Marketing adds no markup on Meta fees; your plan covers the platform.
How long do template approvals take?
Every template is reviewed by Meta before it can be sent, usually within minutes and sometimes up to 24 hours. Approval status syncs into the platform automatically, and we help you write templates that pass review.
How does the AI Sales Assistant work?
Connect your WooCommerce or Shopify store and add your business "About us" information. The assistant answers customer questions on WhatsApp from your synced catalog, sends product photos, prices and buy links, and hands the chat to a human agent when it is not sure.
Does it work with WooCommerce and Shopify?
Yes. You get automatic WhatsApp order notifications, a store panel beside every chat with the customer's orders and your products, product search and ordering inside chatbot flows, and the AI Sales Assistant.
Can my team reply from a phone?
Yes. The Salti Marketing Android app sends push notifications for new messages so agents can reply, run flows and launch campaigns on the go. The full inbox also works in any browser.
Can we write to customers in Arabic?
Yes. Templates, campaigns and chatbot replies can be written in Arabic, English, French or any language WhatsApp supports, and the inbox can auto-translate incoming messages and your replies.
How long does setup take?
The integration takes 30 to 60 minutes in a live session with our team, unless Meta has a delay or asks for extra checks. Then we help you load your first templates and send your first campaign.
